PARENTAL LEAVE
Law No. 29409 issued on 09.20.2009 , which gave workers parental leave, the same that has been regulated by the DS No 014-2010-TR (12/16/2010).
Law No. 29409, as its regulations, indicate that parental leave is a right of workers labor under arrangements for both public and private sectors, including members of the Armed Forces and National Police of Peru .
Article 2 of the regulations, states that providing grants to work in different organizations and companies from the public and private, regardless of the terms of employment or hiring special regime to which they belong.
Thus, they have this right indefinite contract workers to form or fixed term, part-time, subject to special arrangements, both private, domestic, agricultural, aquacultural, construction, etc. and the public sector: CAS (taking into account that has been declared as a special contract by the Constitutional Court), congressmen, diplomats, etc.

Labor Inquiries will now work via the Internet
The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (PETM) has launched a virtual search engine specialized in Peruvian labor legislation, in which users will find all the legislative texts since 1984, that will answer inquiries work via the Internet.
